Public vs. Private Cloud |
This Tec2Check video explains the differences between Public Cloud and Private Cloud. It starts by showing the characteristics of Public and Private Clouds. It then evaluates advantages and disadvantages of using Public Cloud environments, and advantages and disadvantages of using Private Cloud environments.
Please note that we look at traditional public and private cloud environments - i.e. the private cloud referred to in this video is similar to an on premise environment a company hosts its services on. In future, we will also look at the "new" approach of private cloud computing - where the private cloud resides in a data center of a third-party cloud service provider (on a separate tenant).
