In the eighties, computers were about the next level. Processors, mostly up to 1 - 4 megahertz, RAM up to 1 megabyte, Storage devices often counted in kilobytes, not megabytes. The prominent representatives of those years were such computers as Sinclair ZX80, Micro-80, IBM PC, AGAT, ZX Spectrum, Apple Macintosh, BK-0010, Atari ST, Radio-86RK, Vector-06Ts, Acorn Archimedes, Corvette and so on. On the one hand, such computers made it possible to write games in the popular Pascal or Basic languages. On the other hand, computers were very weak and forced to work quite painstakingly on optimizing their applications to achieve the desired file sizes and speed.
Turbo-Gomoku (or Renju checkers). The game was released in 1985. This is a tic-tac-toe puzzle game.
Gravity Wars. The game was released in 1989. It is a turn-based tactical game where you need to calculate the accuracy of shots at an opponent, taking into account the gravity of neighboring planets.
