In this video, I'll guide you through the steps to fix the Out of Memory issue and Low VRAM error using NvidiaProfileInspector. This software allows you to customize your graphics card settings for individual games, and we'll be using it to optimize The Last of Us Part 1.
I'll show you how to find The Last of Us Part I profile in NvidiaProfileInspector, and then we'll go to the Other section to find Memory Allocation Policy. We'll change the setting from MEMORY_ALLOCATION_POLICY_AS_NEEDED to MEMORY_ALLOCATION_POLICY_AGRESSIVE_PRE_ALLOCATION and apply the setting.
Once we've made these changes, we'll open the game and test out the performance improvements. You'll notice a significant improvement in your gaming experience, with smoother gameplay and fewer frame drops.
