This tutorial will show you how to Set & Clear In & Out Points in the Source Window of Adobe Premiere Pro CC 2022. In & Out Points are used to make a selection of footage that is to be placed on the Sequence Timeline.
Keyboard Shortcuts:
Set In Point: i (the letter i)
Set Out Point: O (the letter O)
Clear In Point:
Option + i (Mac)
Ctrl + Shift + i (Windows)
Clear Out Point:
Option + O (Mac)
Ctrl + Shift + O (Win)
Clear In & Out Points:
Option + X (Macs)
Ctrl + Shift + X (Windows)

How To Set In Points in Adobe Premiere Pro CC 2022:
1. Double click on the clip to open in Source Window
2. Drag the playhead marker to where you want to add the In Point
3. Tap the keyboard shortcut ‘i’
How To Set Out Points in Adobe Premiere Pro CC 2022:
1. Drag the playhead marker to where you want to add the Out Point
2. Tap the keyboard shortcut ‘o’ (the letter O)
How To Clear In & Out Points in Premiere Pro CC 2022
1. Go to the Source Window
2. Set In Point (i) and Set Out Point (o)
3. Press the Option Key (Mac) or Alt Key (Windows) plus the letter X
