How to Add Someone as a Friend on Discord
This quick tutorial shows you how to add someone as a friend on Discord. Each Discord user has a unique number ID that comes after their username. This is needed to find and add the right person on Discord.
You can find your unique Discord ID in the bottom left corner of the application. If Streamer mode is enabled then the number won't appear.
Click on your Discord username to copy it to your clipboard. Send the user ID to your friend so they can add you via the friends menu.
If you have another user's ID then you can go to the friends options via the left panel. Select the option to Add Friend and paste in their user. You may then send the friend request.
