WHALEFEATHERS 1st LP 1971 BLUE HORIZON UK 1st Press £260 PSYCH BLUES
Released on the UK Blue Horizon label in 1971 (2431 009) here is the self titled Blues rock LP by US Band Whalefeathers, a copy sold in 2018 for £265. It was also released in America in 1970 with a different sleeve on the Nashville label NASCO (9005) which also garners a similar price.

Cincinnati, Ohio 1968-73. One of Cincinnati's biggest bands of the late 60s and early 70s, as they recorded two LPs and some singles for the Nashville based Nasco label. The band's sound was psychedelic bluesy hard rock. The band included Michael Jones (guitar), Mike Wheeler (guitar), Lenny LeBlanc (bass), Stephen Bacon (drums), and Eddie Blackmon (organ). Earlier members included Don Hacker (bass) and Roger Sauer (bass).
