Marketing is all about trial and error. What works for someone else will not necessarily work for you.
When trying new strategies or channels, make sure you can test how well they work before committing too much money or time.
By using a few different frameworks, we make sure that we review the work we are doing after a while to see the impact this has had. Depending on those results, we typically change our strategy to do more or less.
For example, after 6-12 months, we have seen great SEO benefits and leads generated for a client. We know that this strategy is working, and we should do more if possible. If a website has had no benefit from the SEO work, we pause it. This doesn't mean that SEO was the wrong channel or isn't worth it - just in that instance, that money could be spent better elsewhere.
