How to remove and put the rear brake pads on the cars of the VAZ 2108, 2109, 21099 family and their analogues. I was engaged in repair of rear brakes and simultaneously recorded several videos about this site. I took it there, because the brake cylinder was running and the brake fluid started to change - I changed the cuffs in the cylinder, but this will be the next video - do not miss it!
I tried to show and tell what to do to remove, put the rear brake drum pads on the car. Since I did not change the new ones, but rearranged them in places, I did not touch the handbrake (parking brake), so I forgot to mention it in the video - forgive me! In general, if the pads need to be changed to new, then before the replacement you need to release the handbrake. otherwise with new shoes it will not be possible to put the brake drum on its place!
Replacing the rear brake pads is a simple procedure that everyone can handle, as there are no special tools for repair. Everything can be done on its own and on its own without a service station.
