But when the producers heard her sing, they had second thoughts - and Sam was quickly asked to record it himself. It was also Sam's idea to include the sound of an arrow being fired from a bow on the track. "Cupid" entered the UK charts w/c 29 July 1061 and - with a 14-week run - peaked at #7.
