The implementation of an Asset Performance Management philosophy is currently a major focus and priority for Xcel Energy. This presentation will cover the journey Xcel is on to install instrumentation, integrate data and advance equipment health monitoring to manage risk and inform decision making.
In parallel with the implementation of digital solutions, Xcel is also focused on transforming culture, process and the strategic approach to maintenance to optimize both the cost and reliability of assets. Although Xcel is still early on in this journey, they have many lessons learned to share with others that are on a similar path.
