On the night of October 10, there was a drone attack on the Khanskaya military airfield located near the city of Maykop in the Republic of Adygea, Russia. Local telegram channels reported on this. An explosion and a fire occurred at the airfield as a result of a strike by Ukrainian drones. No casualties are reported. After the incident, residents of Rodnikovy settlement, located one kilometer from the airfield, were evacuated.
Be the location of the 272nd training aviation base, the airfield is home to L-39 training aircraft and MiG-23 fighters.
