How To Add A Title Slide In Google Slides | Google Slides Tutorial
Adding a title slide in Google Slides is a simple process. Here’s how you can do it:
If You're Starting a New Presentation:
Create a New Presentation:
Go to Google Slides and create a new presentation by clicking on the + sign that says Blank.
Title Slide is Added by Default:
By default, the first slide in a new presentation is a title slide. You can simply click on the text boxes to add a title and subtitle.
If You're Adding to an Existing Presentation:
Open Your Presentation:
Open the Google Slides presentation where you want to add a title slide.
Add a New Slide:
Click on the + (Plus) button next to the slide sorter or go to Slide in the top menu and select New Slide, or use the keyboard shortcut Ctrl + M (Windows) or Cmd + M (Mac).
Change the Layout to Title Slide:
Click on the Slide option in the top menu.
Hover over Apply layout.
Select Title Slide from the dropdown menu.
Alternatively, after adding a new slide, you can click on the Layout button that appears on the toolbar below the file name. This button might look like a small square intersected by lines. Once clicked, a menu will pop up showing different layouts. Select the Title Slide layout from the options.
Add Your Title and Subtitle:
Click on the text boxes in the title slide to add your title and subtitle.
Rearranging Slides (If Needed):
If you've added a title slide in the middle of a presentation and wish to move it to the beginning:
Click and Drag:
Click and hold on the slide you wish to move in the slide sorter on the left.
Drag the slide to the desired position.
Release the Mouse Button:
Release the mouse button to drop the slide into the new position.
