The Glock 28 is a subcompact pistol that is chambered for the .380 ACP (Automatic Colt Pistol) cartridge, and it is primarily designed for concealed carry and personal defense. It was originally made to get around laws that prevented citizens from owning military calibers.

However, it's important to note that the Glock 28 was not available in the United States due to restrictions on the importation of firearms that are not classified as sporting weapons. The Glock 28 was only available for sale in select countries, primarily in South America and Asia, subject to various licensing and regulatory requirements in those regions.

However, that ends today. Glock is now manufacturing the 28 in the United States, and thus, the baby .380 Glock will be available for civilian purchase for the first time in the US after over decades of production.
