In Vivo lung perfusion (IVLP) is a surgical technique to isolate one or both lungs from systemic circulation by bypassing the blood supply of the lung. IVLP allows a delivery of a high dose of chemotherapy to targeted organs without systemic exposure and detrimental side effects.
