Making a Base defendable for online Raids is alot more complex than for offlines ones so i decided to make a video explaining it.
This video also includes the often requested "How to Build Peakdowns in Rust".
Another very good thing to do is build flank bases with bedrooms and kits in them. This way you have even more respawns and can come from angles that most raiders wont expect.
