In this tutorial, I'll be showing you how to change your rooted Android device's DPI and resolution values to make icons and visual assets larger or smaller.

Without having to edit your build.prop file, you can use the app "Screen Manipulator" to tweak the scaling of your display. With an additional "Overscan" setting, you can even adjust the edges of your display area to iron out any aspect ratio issues.
