Our Tool Organization Service A-Team (Woody & Dawn) inventoried and organized the special service tools at Rush Truck, Waco, TX, which takes care of Paccar, Cummins, Isuzu, Allison, Caterpillar, Hino and Universal.
00:00 Ok, we're just wrapping up here at Rush Truck, Waco, Texas. This shows you how it turned out. Here is a little utility cart we setup for their axle sockets. I have one more coming for their seal installers.
00:12 This shows you inside their tool room. This first shelf is Cummins. This is a Toolsguard job, and we set them up with everything to make that happen.
00:27 This is a Paccar shelf. This shows you their Paccar panels and it goes into Cummins, then into Isuzu Allison, then Caterpillar, Hino and then Universal.
00:48 Here's their other shelves. This has all the Allison, Isuzu tools on them. This shelf over here has Caterpillar. This is one of TOS's rack systems and we have some of their older tools stored in those. It's all labeled nice and broke down.
01:06 Ok, so when a mechanic comes in this service tool room... We also re-purposed this cabinet some and put some universal stuff and test modules in there.
01:17 So, when a technician comes into the dealership tool room and he comes to retrieve a tool, he knows what he's looking for already. All he has to do is log into the Toolsguard app and scan it...
01:27 This shows you the kits. They have a tag on them with the QR code, and that allows the mechanic to scan that or they can type it in by the number.
01:38 If they are looking for it out in the shop, they can start-up the Toolsguard mobile app and do a search for the number or a description, if they know what, kind of, it's about, and they should be able to find it. Because, it will pull up all the stuff in their tool room.
01:50 Ok. With that, we worked for Bill, Kevin and Rick... a great group. Big project, but this is how it turned out.
