The Character Of God: Universally Known // Zac Page
It's easy to get excited about God's love until you realize how much He loves your enemies. Just think about Jonah. The good news for the universe is that God will make His character of love known to everyone, even through overturning our disobedience like He did with Jonah. So the question for us is: will we embrace & reflect God's character of love willingly, even to our enemies?
As this poem so beautifully states:
"And Jonah stalked
to his shaded seat
and waited for God
to come around
to his way of thinking.
And God is still waiting
for a host of Jonahs
in their comfortable houses
to come around to His way of loving."
