(31 Jan 1994) Russian hardliner Vladimir Zhirinovsky takes his message of Slav solidarity to Bosnian Serbs on Monday (31/1), a day after warning NATO against launching air strikes in the former Yugoslavia.

Russian troops would support Serbs in Bosnia if demanded by the
Serb leadership. .. warns Western countries against selective
air-strikes against Bosnian Serb-held towns saying that it would
amount to a declaration of war to Russia. "I would like to warn
Western countries that the bombing of any Serbian towns in Bosnia
would mean a declaration of war to Russia"

Europe and that the "Russian army will stay there for a long time"
