In today’s video I want to let you know that both the OpenXR Developer Tool and the OpenXR for Windows Mixed Reality have just been updated. Both can be updated via the Windows Store under the apps library. All you need to do is click on Get Updates and the small downloads will start. This is relevant to all Reverb G2 users, and I encourage you to update these apps.

The new Developer Tool runtime version is 110.2202.10002. The difference between these two tools is that one is for the function of OpenXR within the WMR software and the other is specifically for the Developer Tool, which we use to change the Mixed Reality runtime settings, enable preview features, inspect the active OpenXR runtime status, and run a demo scene to ensure OpenXR runtime and devices are working properly.

This new version is running exceptionally well with both the OpenXR Toolkit, which should not be mistaken for the OpenXR Developer Tool, and the recently updated Nvidia Geforce Game Ready driver version 511.79.
