Alan wake is a 3rd person horror shooter created by Remedy Entertainment and published by Microsoft Studios, The game is jam packed with cinematic elements, a familiar reference to the games like Max Payne with trigger events and time dilation mechanics.
It has heavy influences to Stephen King themes, like the Shining, house of Leaves. The games setting Bright Falls draws inspiration from the 1990 series Twin Peaks.

The video starts with AW meeting with the waitress who said she has AW manuscript, but instead she spiked their drinks causing them to black out. AW is then confronted by the Dark grandma lady, at which point the bright light tells him he must switch the lights on. He awakes and afterwards a police chase ensues. Hight impact action.
Alan wake is certainly a video game classic. Follow the Light.
