My "true luxury" has always been able to do and tell exclusive and particular things that I experience and that I want to share with those who follow me, but never as today I feel the need to add "the sky" to my gaze on the "glitter world" and also observe "the stars".
This is the spirit of the "Audrey Tritto" capsule for Mr&Mrs Italy, in which I tried to interpret the spirit of the brand in my "sui generis" interpretation in which I put the values of our common feeling at the center.
Integrity, the desire to explore new paths, the courage to follow them, the ambition to discover something new, respect for what surrounds us, the strength of being together, the "apparent" contrast of opposites and the desire to collaborate, are the reasons that we have in common and that have allowed us to join our paths towards a new and unexplored direction.
What excites me most of all in this collaboration, which is also a challenge to things, was the choice of narrating the capsules through the creation of episodes - netflix series style - that propose a new way of exposing oneself in the digital world in a more innovative way.
No longer a catalog of items for sale, but stories that tell the spirit and the very essence of the items through contexts and situations that in a certain way represent their spirit.
I have always seen Mr&Mrs Italy from afar, browsing on instagram the dozens and dozens of celebrities who have made it a worldwide success: from Rhianna, to Bella Hadid, Gigi Hadid, Adriana Lima, Shakira, Hilary Duff, Amal Clooney, Cam Newton, Heidi Klum, Cara Delevigne, Kate Moss, Sienna Miller whom I met at the Monte Carlo Gala 2020, etc ... and ironically they are all celebrities who are more part of my glitter world than the one from which the brand was born and this intrigued me not little.
Now that Mr&Mrs Italy has asked me to collaborate to explore a new direction, it seemed natural to create a creative relationship with them: the exploration of new paths is a common feeling and after all a trace was already furrowed over time. and we have built a creative idea in which the spirit of Mr&Mrs Italy and my tastes have mixed in a perfect mix in my opinion.
However, I leave you to judge the result, while I can only tell you how engaging and exciting was the creation of the story linked to my capsule. In the series "The stars are back - Episode 1" begins the narrative path of this renewed evolution of the Mr&Mrs Italy world, whose history sees its global success in the creation and birth of the iconic M51 Parka.
In the episodes of the series "The stars are back", the "angels Mr&Mrs Italy" are dedicated to the search for Parka kept in secret places on earth.
In Episode 1, guided by a signal from outer space, I am pushed to a mystical, magical, primitive place, where I will find around some caves, the box where the iconic M51 parka is kept.
"Matera" is the place in question but at the same time it is the "magical" place connected to a strong "interstellar" signal since there is also the center of Space Geodesy which is a real place that communicates with satellites around the earth, to be clear, the Space Shuttle connected with it during the period of the 80s and 90s.
The primary mission is to reactivate the connection between the angels of Mr&Mrs Italy, and the first season of the series “The Stars are Back” will tell this story with an ending that I cannot tell.
In the meantime, I can only focus on the garments that we have thought together, and which in reality are the perfect synthesis of our stories in a new and unexplored key for both:
Me and my "glitter" world are interpreted trough paillettes and ostrich feathers, and Mr&Mrs Italy’s ones is more linked to "urban" use with comfort fit and modularity, they have generated very interesting and particular creations in which "urban" can become, broken down, even a garment to wear on glamorous occasions"
A bit like the Gym shoe under a men's tuxedo suit!
