Nikon Firmware Update D810
How to update Nikon DSLR camera firmware.
Upgrading or updating my Nikon DSLR camera, the Nikon D810 camera firmware from firmware version 1.12 to the latest firmware now, version 1.14.

This is a very easy process and you should do it if you have problems with the camera that were fixed in the recent firmware releases.
This can be done on almost all Nikon cameras. Look for your camera firmware update instructions here:

I used the firmware for Nikon D810 specifically, you can find it here.

Follow the instructions and read all the warnings.
Most important is to begin with a full battery and not to turn off the camera while it's being updated.
