Google Appointment Schedule Tutorial
Google just released Appointment Schedule for google Calendar at the beginning of April 2022 to all workspace users. What a great improvement over Google Slots! In this video I show you how to set up Google Appointment Scheduler and how to change from Google slots to Google Schedule.
This is a great option for people to use for a scheduling system on google calendar for your patients. This can be HIPAA compliant as you have signed a BAA with Google when you purchased your Google Workspace account. If you havent signed a BAA with Google yet check out the video link at the end of this video. Make sure to check with your compliance officer or a lawyer to see if it satisfies your needs. If you are using another scheduler for patient appointments be sure that you are able to sign a BAA with them.
It is very easy to use and I think that the new look is amazing compared to Slots.
The main downside I see to this is that it doesn't have the ability to text reminders yet but I hope they add text reminders in the future.
