In this stage, individuals search for something beyond the material aspirations that society often promotes. They may encounter a spiritual path that promises deeper meaning, though this pursuit might initially appear uncertain or vague. For some, the process brings newfound clarity, but this is only the beginning. The stage of Finding is just the first step, and all ancient spiritual traditions explore this experience in great depth, recognizing it as an essential part of the journey.
After the stage of Finding, the spiritual journey progresses into the stage of Organizing. In this phase, we begin to bring order to various aspects of our lives: our habits, energy, behaviors, emotions, attachments, goals, expectations, and even our diet. As we undergo this process of Organizing, our spirit gradually awakens, and we gain a deeper insight into our true nature.
This stage fosters a growing awareness of who we are, the roots of our suffering, and the reasons behind our attachment to certain beliefs, behaviors, and unfavorable circumstances. It is through this awakening that we come to a profound understanding of love, unity, and duty, cultivating greater compassion for ourselves and others.
Ultimately, these insights lead us to discover a deeper purpose that transcends our individual selves, ushering in the final stage: Returning. In this stage, we embrace a unique path of service, sharing our wisdom, skills, and gifts in ways that foster balance not only within ourselves but also in the world around us.
