After bringing the dodgers a chip in his first season with them in 2020. Mookie and the dodgers went through a period of deep frustration. After a tough loss to the braves in the 2021 NLCS followed by embarrassing NLDS losses to the Padres and Diamondbacks, the dodgers needed to make a serious run in 2024. Mookie went hitless the first 2 games of the NLDS and everyone started to say Mookie was a choker and the dodgers were doomed… well, nobody is saying that anymore. Mookie went on a tear for the rest of the postseason, hitting 4 home runs and 5 doubles all the way to a World Series victory. Dude’s a first ballot hall of fame and showing no signs of slowing down. He’s also just a great personality and a great ambassador for the sport of baseball. What a guy and what a season.
