These are all parts that I used for practice, and it represents what is inside the fog machine. The materials needed for my latest design plans mostly include wood, aluminum, and fans. It connects to a humidifier that uses ultrasonic atomizers and distilled water. Dry ice is optional but not glycol based smoke due to the eventual residue build up that would occur inside the machine.
If I were to build another laminar air flow machine based off of my latest design plans, it would require around 8,000 holes to be drilled in a set of 8 wooden boards that each measure 6 feet long and 0.75" thick. An additional 2,000 holes would also need to be done for the protective aluminum exterior panels. There are certain types of CNC machines that can do all of this.
