Mrs. Vimla (37 years old) is from New Delhi.
She lost the vision in her left eye due to an injury with a wooden stick in childhood.
She underwent many eye surgeries like Lens Replacement Surgery, Corneal Transplant Surgery, and Glaucoma surgery yet she couldn't get rid of her discomfort and pain.
Unfortunately, her vision in the left eye couldn't be restored but we removed her bulging corneal tissues that were causing constant pain and then we implanted an artificial scleral eye shell to maintain the shape of the eye and to make both eyes look alike.
Mrs. Vimla shares her experience and results after 45 days of "Evisceration with Implant" surgery.
