In a previous video, Mark predicted that Sony was abandoning the a7s series of cameras and there would not be an a7siv. He argues that the new features we want in a video camera are too much for such a small camera body like the a7siii. Therefore Sony will attempt to move videographers to the FX3 line, like an FX3ii. As part of his case he pointed to the lack of updates to the a7siii, while the FX3 has been updated a number of times.

But now Sony has announced that it will be releasing firmware updates to the a7siii and the a1 in the spring of 2023. So what does that mean for the a7iv? In this video, Mark gives his options. Enjoy!
