Radka Toneff was born in 1952 in Oslo, Norway, of Bulgarian father (folk singer) and Norwegian mother. She is Norway's greatest jazz singer to this day, and her album "Fairytales" (1982) is Norway's best selling jazz record. She died in 1982.
