Debbie Falls | In Their Own Words
Debbie Falls was a teenager when her older brother Richard "Richie" Hamilton disappeared in 1993. Falls describes her family's realization that Richie was missing, their efforts to find him, and learning years later that his remains were found on the former property of Herbert Baumeister.
WRTV is revisiting this dark chapter in Indiana history to shine light on the renewed effort to identify the unnamed victims.

Thousands of bones and bone fragments were unearthed at Fox Hollow Farm in Westfield, Indiana in the summer of 1996. Investigators believe Herb Baumeister picked up men in gay bars and brought them back to his home where he killed them. Eeight victims were eventually named, but many of the remains are still sitting unidentified in storage. It's something Hamilton County coroner Jeff Jellison is working to change.
