How to write your first Cover Letter (and get the job)

Not sure how to write a cover letter? If you've been asked to submit one as part of a job application then you can use this template to get you started and give you the best chance of success.

Here's the steps I followed in the video:

1. Write your name and contact details (so they know how to offer you an interview)
2. List their details correctly and address them using standard terms that are unlikely to raise any flags
3. Start with a short introductory statement which explains why you think you would be good for this role, and what you want to get out of it
4. Next, explain why you would be a good fit for the job using bullet-points that join the dots for the employer
5. Finish off with a short statement thanking them for their consideration
