Israeli forces send drone into new Hamas tunnel at al-Shifa hospital before soldiers abseil down
The IDF has uncovered a new tunnel at al-Shifa hospital. Drone footage shows a deep spiral staircase leading to an underground passage which ends in a locked door. Israel says the star was uncovered after a car packed with weapons and explosives was detonated. More footage shows a team of Israeli soldiers abseiling down the staircase and investigating the passage. The IDF says Hamas’s main base is underneath al-Shifa. Their mission is to find and destroy the headquarters. Hamas denies using the hospital as a shield for its fighters.
