To link AutoCAD files in Autodesk Revit, follow these steps:

Open the Autodesk Revit project that you want to link the AutoCAD file to.

Go to the Insert menu and select Link CAD.

In the Link CAD Formats dialog box, select the AutoCAD file format that you want to link. The most common file format is DWG.

Browse to the location of the AutoCAD file on your computer and select it.

Click the Open button to link the AutoCAD file to the Revit project.

In the Link CAD dialog box, you can set various options such as the insertion point, scale and rotation of the AutoCAD file.

Once you have set the options, click OK to link the AutoCAD file to the Revit project.

The AutoCAD file will now be displayed in the Revit project as a separate layer that you can turn on or off as needed.

It is important to note that linked AutoCAD files are not editable within Revit, but you can use it as a reference for creating new elements or for coordinating with other disciplines. It is also important to keep the source AutoCAD files updated, in case of any changes made, to ensure the consistency of the project
