Momiji Nishiya is a Japanese skateboarder who won a gold medal in the street competition at the 2020 Summer Olympics in Tokyo at the age of 13, becoming the youngest Japanese Olympic champion in history. She beat off competition from silver medalist Rayssa Leal and bronze medalist Funa Nakayama. Nishiya had previously won silver at the 2019 X Games in Norway and the runner-up title at the 2020 Skateboard World Championships. The 2020 Olympic podium was the youngest in the history of the Games. 🏅👧🏻
