Milking Cows At The Local Dairy Farm & Meeting The Spring Baby Calves
Do you love learning about sweet animals?! Well if you do, this is the episode for you! At the Dungeness Valley Creamery, we get to meet some dairy cows! These dairy cows are called Jersey cows and they are so gentle and sweet! They love attention and they love to have their chin itched.
In this episode, we get to meet little calves and their mommas. We even get to milk a cow and then follow the “milk trail” to the bottling station! It’s quite the adventure and we learn so much! It takes a lot of work and love to care for these gentle animals. It was such an honor to meet the amazing creamery staff and I was so happy to see how well they love their dairy cows! They really were a big, happy, farm family!
And after the tour, we can listen to the Spring Song because baby cows remind me of spring and all the growth it has to offer!
