In this episode, Adam Duxbury, Chief of Staff at Yoco, talks about his experiences in the tech sector, and the lessons he has drawn from being a founder of several start-ups, enabling online deliveries to events spaces.

Adam’s entrepreneurial journey started with a background in strategy consulting at some of the largest telecoms industry firms, where he worked across many emerging and developed markets in Africa (Nigeria, SA, Angola) and South-east Asia (Singapore, Indonesia). He drew upon this rich learning experience to start four different companies before he was even 30 years old, a feat that (among other things) earned him a spot on the Mail & Guardian 200 Young South Africans list of 2020.

In this video, Adam talks about his time in the private tech sector, the lessons he learnt in some of the fastest developing sectors in the world, the fantastic opportunities in tech, and how these things helped him turn his dreams into real companies.
