Cosplaying for so long can have its ups and downs and at times the world of cosplay changes so much that we seem to be unable to keep up. It can also be overwhelming for new cosplayers to want to come in to the community because they either are told some things about it that would scare them off or at times it just seems hard to know where to start or how to start especially if you don’t know anybody. Like everything, cosplay has changed but let’s make it for the better. It simply means the community has grown and we have more opportunities of growth, work and exposure. Wether you are new to cosplay or have been cosplaying for a while, I hope this video helps inspire you to follow your cosplay dream no matter what and don’t let anybody dictate your experience! Enjoy doing what you love because you love it and it simply brings you joy. Make the right friends, learn and grow. And lastly! If you ever thought or are thinking of giving up on cosplay or any art form, have felt like a failure as an artist, are not making any money from it, are afraid of what others think of you, think you cannot afford your craft anymore or lack the time or confidence for it, watch this video and I hope to motivate you to keep trying, Don’t Quit!
