No Excel is not a good project management tool. Even Microsoft uses something better. I got some questions about what is a good project management tool: JIRA, Trello, Planner, Visual Studio, Smartsheet... uff there are so many. So I thought I discuss during my visit at Microsoft (see WorkDay Ep. 12) and asked Christian Binder who is an expert for agile project management. I was blown away when he told me that they scale Kanban (a very lean, actually very very lean agile pm method) for 30.000 people. That's a lot more than most of the startups have that usually work with these methods.
I would be interested in your best practice and best experience for project management tools and methods. Let me know.
Thanks for watching!
