Press Win+R hotkey to open the Run dialog. Type regedit in the Run dialog and press Enter. This will open Windows Registry Editor
In the Registry Editor, navigate to the following key: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\WindowsUpdate\UX\Settings.
Create a new 32-bit DWORD value named FlightSettingsMaxPauseDays and change its value to the number of days for which you want to pause the updates. For example, setting its value to 3654 (decimal) will change the maximum limit to 10 years.
