In this video we will learn how to install and interact with the PlatformIO tool in the Visual Studio Code environment, to program two different types of Boards, the Arduino UNO board, and the board based on the ESP32 chip.
We will explore each of the components of this IDE, or Integrated Development Environment, among which are the Code Editor, Compiler, Loader, Serial Monitor, Serial Plotter, Library Manager, with the aim of creating skills for system development embedded electronics with this powerful open source tool, (PlatformIO), as an important alternative to the well-known and popular Arduino IDE.
