A photon is a fundamental particle of light and other forms of electromagnetic radiation.
Photons, being particles of light, do not possess mass. They are considered massless particles. As a result, they always travel at the speed of light in a vacuum, which is approximately 186,000 miles per second.
Regarding time, space, and distance, photons experience the world differently from massive particles due to their mass less ness. According to special relativity, time dilation occurs for objects moving close to the speed of light. From the perspective of a photon, time does not pass, and distance contracts to zero. This is because, at the speed of light, the time experienced by the photon and the distance it travels become infinitely dilated.
