I create a 3D model of a Nissan Leaf electric motor from photos!

I wanted to create a 3D model of a Nissan Leaf motor. I already had a nice DSLR, so I decided to try "Photogrammetry" - the process of making 3D objects from multiple still images. I shot about 190 still photos and then processed them using MetashapePro. From there, I exported an .STL model. I imported that model into Fusion 360 where I further processed it and converted it into a solid body. I could then use it with the CAD work I already had set up for the electric tractor project.

Agrisoft Metashape Pro software: https://www.agisoft.com/downloads/req...
Autodesk Fusion 3D CAD software: https://www.autodesk.com/products/fus...
I saved a copy of the STL model of the Leaf motor to: https://spaces.hightail.com/space/fQM...
It's just the rough version. It still needs clean up on the bottom and removal of the barstool top.
Please download it and play with it if you would like. Might be neat to 3D print!
