This video is meant to demonstrate how to install VMware Tools on a VMware Player or VMware Workstation virtual machine. We also go through why exactly we need VMware Tools when using Virtual Machines.
VMware Tools allow us to do many more things that are not possible with a traditional virtual machine. Simple aspects such as Drag-n-Drop, Copy and Paste from within the VM to your host Operating System, resizing the VM resolution on the fly, are additional features that VMware tools enable us to do once it has been installed.
VMware tools is recommended to be one of the first things anyone should install once they have created a virtual machine through VMware Player or VMware Workstation.
