DJI Mavic Air 2 HDR 4K vs Normal 4K (Video Quality Comparison Test)
Is it worth filming in HDR mode on the DJI Mavic Air 2 even though the color standard it uses (Rec. 709) isn’t HDR? I took the time to shoot some side-by-side comparisons so you can decide for yourself. Leave a like if you found this video helpful.
My takeaway was that it generally seemed that HDR mode does in-fact help capture a greater dynamic range than the “Normal” 4K recording mode —mainly when dealing with a bright sky and dark landscape or vice-versa.
