flipc.org has been saying "Come back later, buddy!" for a while now. In this video we learn how to install custom firmware and how to install apps (without needing flipc.org). The apps can come from the official hub, or from a github or from another firmware's external folder. The process takes about 20 minutes to initially setup, but then you can install new apps onto your Flipper in under a minute!

In this video we use the FBT tool to install applications, but you can also use Visual Studio Code to build apps. Ctrl+Shift+B, "Launch app on Flipper" basically just runs FBT for us.

There is also a uFBT tool that you can use, which can be setup even quicker, however it isn't supported with all of the firmware yet.
