I'm a veteran of many exam campaigns and I'm here to share with you some of the skills I picked up along the wa- what is my shirt doing?!? Wow, that's weird. Moiré patterns, baby!

Got your GCSEs/A-levels/big test coming up? The second part in this short video series talks through some exam techniques that will help make your revision count for the most possible. All about getting your exam blade as sharp as you can!

If you found this video useful please consider sharing it with your friends or even with your teachers - the more people that I can help with their exams, the less stigma we can attach to them as a society, and we can get on with better things!

Notes:

The spear analogy: your exam effort is split between revision and exam technique. Good exam technique is all about maximising the usefulness of your revision, and allowing you to put it into practise.

1. Know the format of your exam, the syllabus and its mark scheme
2. Time management: allocating time by marks, leave a buffer at the end
3. Have a positive mental attitude going into the exam
4. Have the right equipment, and know the exam regulations!

Also! Read the exam paper carefully before answering any questions - make intelligent, informed decisions where you have a choice. Read through your answers in the time buffer, checking for errors. And lastly make sure you're not stressing out before you go in the exam - it's a very important time and absolutely when you should be thinking of yourself.
