BreachWatch provides organizations oversight of the vulnerability of users’ passwords through active monitoring of dark web breach data. Users and administrators are notified if any of their passwords in a record have been found in a 3rd party data breach that could leave your organization vulnerable to a credential stuffing attack or an account takeover.
From the end-user vault, BreachWatch will notify the user on their device if a breached password is detected. The user can quickly resolve a breached password by changing the password on the affected site using Keeper's password generator or password change tool in the browser extension. Please note, that even a strong password can be compromised through a 3rd party data breach and BreachWatch will alert the user to immediately change the password on the target site.
BreachWatch provides Admins a dashboard overview and a summary table in the Admin Console, within the BreachWatch tab, to identify how many high risk passwords exist for users.
The Keeper Administrator can click on a user's name to bring up the user details containing their email address so they can request that the user take action.
BreachWatch alerts can also be generated in the Advanced Reporting & Alerts module to notify the end-user and Admin automatically. To send BreachWatch events into the reporting module, be sure to activate this option in the relevant role enforcement policies.
