How to Connect Spotify to Discord
Looking to spice up your Discord experience with your favorite tunes? Look no further! In this video, we'll show you step-by-step how to connect your Spotify account to Discord on desktop and mobile. Get ready to share your musical vibes with your friends!
️ Connecting Spotify on Desktop:
Open the Discord desktop app or visit the Discord website in your browser and log in.
Click the gear-shaped User Settings button located at the bottom of the interface, next to the Mute and Deafen icons.
Within the USER SETTINGS menu, head over to the Connections tab.
In the Connections menu, click the Spotify button, usually found at the top within the CONNECT YOUR ACCOUNTS box.
You'll be directed to a special login page for Spotify. Simply log into your Spotify account to complete the linking process.
Allow Others to See Your Tunes:
To let others see what you're listening to on Spotify, scroll down in the Connections tab until you find your connected Spotify account.
Here, you'll spot two sliders: Display on profile and Display Spotify as your status.
Turn on Display Spotify as Your Status:
Flip the switch on Display Spotify as your status if you want others to know when you're jamming out on Spotify, along with the specific tracks you're enjoying!
Connecting Spotify on Mobile (Android & iOS):
Open the Discord app on your mobile device and swipe in from the left to reveal all the tabs at the bottom.
Tap the User Settings button, which resembles your Discord profile picture. It's the rightmost tab at the bottom.
Within USER SETTINGS, tap the Connections tab, denoted by a phone icon next to a laptop computer.
Hit the ADD button in the top right of Connections, and from the options that appear, select Spotify.
Log into your Spotify account to establish the connection.
