Lesotho, landlocked in South Africa, is one of the poorest countries in the world. It is also breathtakingly beautiful, and has a rare and precious resource: water. During the long southern winter months, Lesotho is covered in snow and in the middle of the peeled mountains, there is even a ski slope very popular with South Africans. In the no man's land that separates South Africa from Lesotho, vehicles have to face a winding road strewn with pitfalls and cross the Sani Pass, a pass with a sinister reputation, under the gusts of wind. At the wheel of their old taxi, on dirt tracks and deserted roads that cross the mountains, Alice and Fébellina, for their part, struggle to find new customers.
